Description

The Black Eye Galaxy (M64), also known as the "Evil Eye" is an intriguing spiral galaxy some 17 million light years away in the northern constellation of Coma Berenices. The interstellar medium of M64 has two counter-rotating disks, causing it's strange appearance. It is home to over 100 billion stars.
