Description

A comparison of resolution of convection cells in 430nm g-band (higher angular resolution than longer wavelengths such as 610nm or 656nm) with a mere 80mm aperture compared to a 150mm aperture, smaller instruments, to get the most resolution we can out of them with small pixels (2.9um) when imaging at near critical sampling limits under good seeing. This is relative to the upcoming Mercury transit to be able to make the most of these smaller apertures.
