Description

This picture was an experiment, I didn't think I would be able to find (and keep the whole imaging session)  a guiding star with the OAG with this target. Messier 100, AKA: The Blow dryer galaxy, is one of the brightest and largest galaxies in Coma Berenices, (it also belongs to the Virgo Cluster).  It is surrounded by hundreds of tiny galaxies and bold stars. Not precisely the ideal target for a reflector with an OAG. However, I was able to collect a lot more subs than I expected with no interruptions. There are plenty of beautiful targets in Coma Berenices and Virgo and it only gets better after midnight towards the end of the winter season. Worth trying
