Description

Something a bit different from me but I thought I would share. First time imaging the moon in over a decade!

The UK has been battered by storms lately, just ask my missing in action fence panels who all decided they no longer wished to remain in my garden!

The only suitable night for astrophotography in the past few weeks came along with a bright moon which was washing out exposures on my chosen target (The Jellyfish Nebula)

So when life gives you lemons......image the enemy ;-)

Stars added as a seperate layer to achieve the composition.

I find myself with only a WO Redcat at 250mm at the moment. As we enter Galaxy season my options at that widefield are few and far between. I may have to treat myself to something with greater reach, I've been contemplating an Edge HD 8 but that would probably need to come in tandum with an upgrade from my EQ5 and that would be quite an investment. Any thoughts or advice very welcome.
