Description

NGC 7380 (also known as the Wizard Nebula) for its peculiar shape. It is an open cluster in the constellation Cepheus. It was discovered by Carolina Herschel (Caroline Herschel) in 1787.It is difficult to see visually, it normally requires powerful telescopes, even with astrophotography techniques it cannot be seen well in the light shots and it is at the time of processing where the magic is done and this result appears, revealing the nebula. Right ascension 22h 47.0mDeclination +58º 06'Distance 7200 toApparent magnitude 7.2 (V)Cepheus Constellation Equipment used; Telescope 🔭 Newton astrograph 200/1000Skywatcher Eq6R-pro mountCamera 📷 Zwo Asi1600mm ProEFW Zwo filter wheel. 7x2"Autoguided Ts 60/240+Zwo Asi462mcSmart-box Gaius-S Rb-focusMerlin Rb-focus autofocusBasder RGB+H-alpha,Oiii and Síi filters Image capture data; H-alpha. 25x180s. -10°[Oiii]. 25x180s. -10°[Sii]. 20x180s. -10°                 50~Darks                 Red.       38x30s. -10°Green.   38x30s. -10°Blue.      35x30s. -10°                 100~Darks Total integration 4h 25'min 30"s.Data acquired with N.I.N.A. in synergy with Ascom, Eqmod and Phd2. Data calibrated, stacked and processed entirely with Pleiades Astrophoto Pixinsight.
