Description

IC 5070 better known as the Pelican Nebula, is a vast molecular cloud composed mainly of ionized hydrogen located on the tail of the constellation of Cygnus a few degrees from the star Deneb. It is part of the same complex as the North America Nebula (NGC7000). The image is a HORGB obtained with an RGB shot with the Optolong L pro filter and a HOO shot obtained with the Optolong L-Extreme filter. The final result allows to have the depth and three-dimensionality of the powders thanks to the narrow band filters and the correct chromatic rendering of the stars thanks to the broadband filter.

I also add the starless version to appreciate the dusts in its forms
