Description

This pair of galaxies UGC 12914 and UGC 12915 is located about 180 million light-years away. The galaxies have survived a head-on collision which happened about 25-30 million years ago. The smaller galaxy has flown right through the other creating a bridge of gas between the two.

Enjoy!
