Description

RCW 58 is a Hydrogen Nebula (primarily) emitted by the WR40 star in its center. This Wolf-Rayet star is about 100times more massive and about a Million more luminous and 30 times hotter than our central star, the Sun. High stellar winds throw masses of Hydrogen out in to the space which can be seen here, accompanied by some Oxygen.

The raw date come from a CDK24 in Chile, operated by Telescope.Live and equipped with a QHY600M camera. The 3nm filters used are R,G,(B), Ha and OIII plus L. I processed the raw files in APP plus PixInsight and Photoshop.
