Description

I was taking 5-minute shots of NGC4631 (Whale Nebula), and on this frame the tracking somehow turned off. Notice NGC4631 stays in focus, but all the foreground stars streaked. Nothing ground breaking, but proves local stars are much closer, and we are able to observe them move over short time frames, while the distant Whale Nebula did not “appear” to move at all due to the much greater distance away (~25 million light years).
