Description

At 29.3 million light years away the Sunflower Galaxy is not a Grand Design Spiral galaxy like we believe the Milky Way to be, but rather a flocculent spiral with arms that appear less defined and swirled together. Oddly my image gathering session was plagued with satellite fly-overs, I tossed a bunch of subs and still two faint lines are visible in this image.
