Description

First light of my new Petzval-Apo TSAPO71Q.
It has an improved lens compared to the old Photoline optics

I tried to represent NGC 7822 aka "The Cosmic Question Mark" as realistically as possible.
NGC 7822 is actually a very frequently photographed nebula.
The inconspicuous and faint open star cluster “King 11” (see the annoated revision b) is usually overlooked and is rarely well resolved in the images.
King 11 is a very old open star cluster, which can be seen from the yellowish-pale color of the stars.

The open star cluster “Berkeley 59”, on the other hand, is very young with an age of "only" a few million years.
It contains extremely hot stars that cause NGC 7822's gases to glow.
