Processing Description A:
A majority of us are confined to inhabit Universe A. In our Universe, Be 142 looks as it does in Image A. Image processing was done in a relatively routine manner for this image.

Processing Description B:
But Universe A is not alone...there's also Universe B! In that Universe, Be 142 is not a simple dark nebula but a vibrant nebula of mixed emission, reflection, and dark clouds with high-pitched dynamics. With the help of AI, Image B (on mouse hover) is such a universe imagined. Yes, it is pure fantasy…but making this fantasy was just as challenging as teasing out the less impactful reality of Image A and actually quite a bit more fun.

The diverse program Canva reimagined the starless true image (image A without stars). I took that image, enhanced the lighting, textures, and details, and added stars. The result was blended with the original image, strongly favoring the original.

I do not present this image as "better than reality." It is simply a fun approach to developing an artistic vision based on the reality of the universe around us. BTW this is based on about 10' of exploring in Canva. I venture there are better things to come as we explore additional universes.
