Description

My experiment of shooting at my bortle 7 home continues. I did a dynamic alignment of the two channels/filters, then cropped it and applied gradient extraction then noisex, blurx. I extracted the channels from the Idas and AstronomikL2 and combined the red channels with Pixelmath using this algorithm ~(~Red * ~Ha) to give me a blended Ha channel. The red is the Astronomik R and the Ha is the Idas R. I then do a linear fit of the blended ha using the Green channel from the AstronomikL2 as reference and then do a channel combination with the G and B from the AstronomikL2 and R using the blendedha which gave me a HaRGB output. I then do a fitsheader with one of the AstronomikL2 light subs and applied it to the HaRGB output and then applied imagesolver and SPCC. I later on used the blendedHa as luminance using Lrgb combination. Thanks to @Ryan Génier for sharing this method of adding Ha to an RGB image with me.
