Description

Wizard Nebula: Wizard Nebula is a common name for this  faint Emission Nebula in the northern constellation of Cepheus. The main astronomical designation is NGC 7380. It actually means the Open Cluster of young stars connected to the nebula. The new born stars, like in many star birth regions interact with the surrounding gas and dust clouds, thus creating often bizarre shapes and forms. They display quite often a special aesthetic quality. The image was created by a large number of frames using narrowband filters for the spectral lines of hydrogen, oxygen and sulfur. They were then combined according to the  Hubble Scheme (SHO).
