Description

NGC4567 and NGC4568 (nicknamed the Butterfly Galaxies or the Siamese Twins) are a set of unbarred galaxies about 60 million light years away in the Constellation of Virgo. They are part of the Virgo cluster of galaxies. These galaxies are in the process of colliding or merging with each other. Apparent magnitude of 10.9.
