Description

I find many of the galaxies cataloged by Halton Arp interesting. It is no wonder that they are called "peculiar galaxies".

This is Arp 273 that shows the interacting galaxies UGC 1810 and UGC 1813.

Two nights of 180s LRGB on this small and dim target. Magnitude is around 14. The two bright stars caused some processing problems. There was a pronounced blue/purple haze from them. I used PI CloneStamp to try and fix this the best I could.
