Description

I tried capturing this small nebula yesterday night in narrowband (Optolong L-Ultimate 3nm Ha & Oiii only).   The nebula is very small and I think the FLT91 doesn't have enough focal length and aperture for this small nebula, so it lacks detail.  Also, it would benefit from Sii, but the Optolong L-Ultimate filter is only dual-band 3nm Ha and Oiii. The image is cropped to zoom on the nebula.

Sh2-188 is a very small and dim planetary nebula in the constellation Cassiopeia about 8,000 light years away. It is often called the Shrimp, Simeis 22, or Dolphin nebula.  It appears approximately 10.0 x 3.0 arcminutes in size.
