Description

The Wizard!
When i started in this hobby, there were a few objects i saw images of that really ignited my excitement.  The Wizard was one of them.  I've been eyeballing this nebula for 2 years wanting to get it and get it right.
And i really feel i've done so!  When i finished processing this, i immediately set it as my computer's background and just stared at it off and on for a couple days.  I'm so proud and happy with how far i've come from my original blurry M42 first photo.  It's really a great feeling.

I made the final modifications to my 294mm to reduce the vibration.  I would say that the vibration is still there if you pixel-peep, but it's negligible. It's still noticeable on guide stars, and i'm not sure if it's still effecting my guiding.  But my final image is pretty good, so at least for now i'm satisfied with the fix.

I've tried everything my basic mechanical skills can come up with.
I replaced the screws holding the back plate with these rubber damping screw extensions and replaced the screws themselves with plastic screws.  That bought more space between the heat sink and the fan so i was able to move the fan down farther on the rubber damping rods.  And finally, the space around the casing created from extending the backplate out i sort of filled with mason jar seals.  They were about the right size, so i layered 3-4 of them to fill the space so the fan would blow the air in the right direction.
