Description

This nebula is stupidly faint. For reference [this is what a single 10 minute H-alpha frame looks like](https://i.imgur.com/LdgyMLZ.png)

Sh2-250 is located at the [tip of Orion's bow](https://i.imgur.com/wsWrcSK.png) and the [galaxies NGC 1633 and 1634 are located towards the middle of it](https://i.imgur.com/n4nhDNq.jpg). I haven't been able to find any other amateur images of it other than [this one](http://www.sharplesscatalog.com/Sharpless.aspx?sharp=250) by Dean Salman. I decided to photograph this as I wanted to go after a more obscure target for first [Project Patchwork](https://www.reddit.com/r/astrophotography/comments/gt16cq/the_end_of_project_patchwork_beginning_patchwork/). This currently stands as my longest exposure time on a single target, at 30 hours and 18 mins. I'll likely attempt to add more this winter to bring out the faint hydrogen-alpha gas. I've put off processing this for a while as I wasn't pleased with previous attempts (still looks a little shit imo, needs more data). Also due to the obstructions from my apartment roof I was only able to get a couple of hours in on it each night, hence the huge number of nights it took to image. Captured on the dates in the table below from my apartment roof in downtown Athens, GA (Bortle 7).
