With my latest version of the Triangulum galaxy (3 million light years away) with my RASA8, I was able to resolve individual stars!!!!

M33 Triangulum Galaxy 2022 Update Version L+Ha+OSC RASA8

NGC  604 is a large hydrogen region  that is 100x the size of the Orion Nebula in M33. Never good to compare to a Hubble image, but I couldn't resist 😅. The Small vertical line is an artifact that I did not catch in my last star deemphasis.

I would not say that my M33 is a top tier image, but I think it is one of the best images I have produced from my Bortle Class 4 skies. With only 10 hrs of integration, it definitely offers a look at what can be done in my backyard

In my pride, I wanted to look what type of amatuer images were on the Triangulum Wikipedia page.  There were some average images. So, I decided to complete a first and add an image of mine to a wikipedia page. I though it gave a good perspective on the galaxy and what it could do from the amateur side.

Well.... I apparently angered a retired astronomy professor from Iowa, I think Drake University, by posting an amateur picture to the page. The professor deleted my post and all of the other amateur, stating they had nothing to add.

While this is probably why posting to wikipedia is not worth it,  I do believe being able to resolve individual stars at 3 million light years with an 8 in astrograph is something to add!
