Description

M22 Globular Cluster in Sagitarius. This is another of a series of EAA image trials taken during my migration over to EAA. Equipment used was my ED150DX, reduced, ASI294MC (noncooled) camera, and my CGX mount, all located in my backyard observatory in NSW Australia. Shaprcap 3.2 was used to manage the process, aligning and live stacking the frames (or subs if you prefer) as we went along. This image consists of just 9 x 30s frames. Minimal tweaking of the historgram was done in Sharpcap, no other processing software was used.

I would like to point out that EAA is not a replacement for traditiona long sub imaging, but is ideal for time poor folks, or those of us that can no longer do long sub imaging due to poor eyesight, or health problems. As an adjunct to visual astronomy it give the user much more reach than our simple eyesight can provide.
