Description

The Cocoon Nebula (IC 5146, Caldwell 19, Sh 2-125) is a reflection nebula in the constellation Cygnus illuminated by a hot young main sequence star. The nebula contains reflections, emissions and dark parts.

The images were taken at my home backyard observatory in the red, green and blue channel. I have used William Fluorostar 132 telescope, ZWO ASI 2600 camera and Skywatcher EQ 6 mount. More than one third of images I had to remove from the processing pipeline due to low quality.  Images were processed in the Pixinisight using BlurXTerminator, NoiseXTerminator and artificial luminance channel. Final stretching was done by GeneralizedHyperpbolicStretch.
