Description

Greetings, here I share an image of IC410, commonly known as "The Tadpoles." It has been given that name due to the groups of gas and dust that remain from the cluster formation, and are probably forming new stars within them. These "tails" of tadpoles are caused by the radiation pressure and the solar wind of the stars that form the open cluster NGC 1893 that is within the nebula. You can see how these tails point in the opposite direction to the star cluster to the left of them.

This image has barely 5 hours and a half of integration time through hydrogen alpha and oxygen III filters. The subs were taken from my backyard with skies that suffer from a severe light pollution. I tried the HOO palette, but I got nasty blue halos around the bigger stars that were impossible to fix through processing.

Unfortunately I will not be able to add more data this year since the object is no longer available in the area where I image. I hope you like it.
