Description

My second attempt at this region — much, much better than my first attempt a bit less than a year ago.  Improvements in equipment and additional integration time make a big difference (also I've gotten better at processing the data, but getting better data helps more than anything else).  Really got that SII data to pop here, I think (which was a bit of a happy accident, clouds ate a bit of my OIII and especially Hɑ, so I ended up getting much more SII relative to the other channels).

The first couple of nights were shot on the RST-135 mount, the rest on the Mach2GTO (haven't really exercised that mount yet, just a basic setup/config so far).

I am very happy with this one.  My only quibble is that the aberration is fairly noticeable, but I guess for f/3.5 I can't complain too much.  Might be fixable, might not be, we'll have to see (but in the short term I'll be switching to the flattener instead for a while on future targets).

Not much else to say about it, I guess.
