Description

SH2-173 is an emission nebula located in the constellation Cassiopeia. It contains several young stars assumed to be the ionization source of the HA gases in the area. It's common name is the Phantom of the Opera nebula.

This is a relatively dim target requiring a decent amount of integration time. Data was acquired over a four night span during a full moon.
