Description

As my second project for QHY294M I went for a more challenging target, with a full set (at the time) of HaLRGB filters. I chose this target to see how far I can push the camera and my processing skills, and also because of the fact that I travelled to Bortle 4 area.
Now finally having a mono camera, I can run photometry on my data, and to my surprise, I discovered 3 new eclipsing binary stars. Two of them are Algol type variables, with one of them having asymmetric, time-changing curve shape due to surface spots; the third is W UMa type variable. Phased light curves you see here are from TESS observatory for precise period determination. The stars were submitted to CzeV catalogue of variable stars.
