Description

Another quick test image of one of the most common and popular object of the night sky The Pleiades. This was only "20 x 2 minute exposures" and yet is revealing some of the very faint dust and nebulae.

Total Integration Time 40 minutes

Compare this to an earlier image of mine and Kim's (collaboration) yes much deeper but it has an integration time of over 13 hours

The new QHY367C, Full Frame 7376x4938, 36.4mega pixel One Shot Color CMOS camera. I used the new Unity Gain (DSO) setting of 2850

Captured from the backyard of John's house on the slopes of Grand Mesa at an elevation of 6600 feet in Western Colorado on the 1st March 2017.
