Description

The Pacific Northwest incessant rain finally got to my sanity (2 months without proper clear sky), and I decided it was time to revisit 'old' data that I truly never gave the processing it deserved. The first target had to be, of course, the Eagle Nebula M16.

This is a very challenging target for my latitude. It never gets above 28 degrees from my latitude and it is directly located in the Seattle downtown haze (making the seeing issue even worse).  Combined with the high focal length of the C8 and you have a recipe for not a fun time.  BlurXterminator  AI4 truly comes to the rescue for these difficult cases. I am actually very happy with how the image turned out.
