Description

Finally coming back to this older data with the weather being crap and processing as my fallback while I wait.  Two panel mosaic with limited subs from two slightly different skies in my back yard.  I had to tone down the stars in one panel due to the difference in sky quality and the variation in number of subs between the two sessions.

The registration of the SHO and RGB was a bit challenging at first, but a couple rounds with StarAlignment and GradientMergeMosaic was enough to resolve.

GraXpert was not usable on this image under several attempts and I reverted to DBE.  It is good to always know how to do this when the more automated methods don't work out.

The RGB stars did not look as good as the SHO ones.  I used a simple image invert with SCNR removal, then reinverted for the SHO stars.  I made this image mainly for the composition and may come back when I get more data, or try to add data from my FLT132 subs in the cygnus wall area.  It is a bit noisy in its current state, especially when zooming in.

Hope you enjoy it.
