A new project, LDN 1622
I am not sure if this image represents a photo of clouds on earth or nebulosity in the sky :)
The winter of 2021 has been and continue to be 'weather' challenged...

LDN 1622 is located in the great Orion constellation.
This image is 4 hrs and 30 min of Ha, S-II and O-III data acquired under bortle 8.

As always, Orionis 56 shows a halo created by the RASA and narrow band filters.

The nebulosity of LDN1622 is very interesting and reminds me of a synform where the tip is full of dusts and illuminated by the surrounding stars, such as Orionis, 56 at the top and 59 at the bottom of the image.

The synform and antiform pair of LDN 1622 are created by the hot hydrogen clouds mixing with the cooler space, thus creating like a wave of nebulosity.

The boogie man stands tall and proud at the tip of that wave, like an ocean surfer.
