Description

Here is my attempt at the Bat and Squid nebulae.  Here in the UK we're now in 'nautical' night only until late July...  so why not tackle one of the faintest popular objects going?!  This is the first proper narrowband target that rises above my house from the patio and I unfortunately have a very limited view to the horizon in the south, so gave this target a whirl...  Because of this I was only able to keep just over 1h of OIII subs per night, despite taking 3h each night - being really strict with this meant I was able to get some usable data out, just.  I'm sure this would've really benefitted from some proper dark conditions, but it gives me a good reason to return!
