From the beginning of 2023, I took the last picture of the comet C/2022 E3 (ZTF), the main character of hot interest.
During the last shoot, I experienced crazy cold down to -24 degrees, but this time around -7 degrees was quite tolerable. There was almost no wind, and the weather was perfect for filming. However, it seems that the transparency and light pollution were not as good as the last time I came.
The comet's location was midway between the North Star and the Bode/Cigar Galaxy, allowing it to be photographed overnight. Shooting with an 8-inch Newtonian reflex (F/4) and ASI2600mc, the angle of view came in full enough to be lacking a lot. I wanted to include a wide range of anti-tail and ion tail, but I gave up on some due to the unavoidable angle of view.
Unlike the previous results, I tried to show the comet as natural as possible without breaking the color scale too much. However, I couldn't erase the selfish desire to add a little too much color. ^^
This is the last shot of Comet C/2022 E3 (ZTF). I want to stop now. It is not easy to correct because there is too much data. lol
Now let's focus on deep sky shooting again. ^^
