Sehr hoch stehend in der Milchstraße, befindet sich der doch etwas schwache Emissionsnebel SH2-86 bzw NGC6820 im Sternbild des Füchsleins (Vulpecula). Ich zeige euch eine Kombination aus Luminanz, RGB und Schmalbandaufnahmen mit insgesamt knapp 6 Stunden Belichtungszeit. Wenn man genau hinsieht, erkennt man diesen schwarzen Nebel, der ins Zentrum guckt - man nennt ihn auch den kleinen Elefantenrüssel, und noch eine Reihe von noch kleineren Baby Elefantenrüssel ^^

Dieses relativ junge Sternenentstehungsgebiet entstand schätzungsweise vor etwa 2 - 11 Millionen Jahren und ist ungefähr 6000 Lichtjahre von uns entfernt. Ich hatte schon einen halben Tag an der Nachbearbeitung gesessen, aber am nächsten Morgen als ich es ansah, gefiel es mir nicht - die Sterne waren voller Artefakte... Wohl dem ArcSin Strech in Pixinsight geschuldet - also hab ich es gestern nochmal neu bearbeitet - nun gefällt es mir :-)

Aufgenommen direkt aus der Stadt heraus bei lichtverschmutztem Bortle 7 Himmel in Tulln an der Donau / NÖ / Österreich --> Balkonsternwarte

Standing very high in the Milky Way, the somewhat faint emission nebula SH2-86 or NGC6820 is located in the constellation of the Vixen (Vulpecula). I'm showing you a combination of luminance, RGB and narrow-band images with a total exposure time of just under 6 hours. If you look closely, you can see this black nebula peeking into the center - it is also called the small elephant's trunk, and a number of even smaller baby elephant trunks ^^
This relatively young star-forming region is estimated to have formed about 2 - 11 million years ago and is about 6000 light years away from us.
