Description

To see the southern sky is a photographer’s dream. This year I’m getting ready for a new adventure in September. As the summer part of the southern sky will be already visible this time, I decided to travel down there again to capture the other arch what we call here Winter Milky Way with well-known Orion. This image from last year shows the Milky Way Arch as we can observe it now in April, May or June and it reflects my first acquaintance with a southern sky. Magellanic Clouds, Carina and Coalsack Nebula… all these objects are quite impressive. Can’t wait to be able to photograph it again.
