Description

Whilst the weather remains appalling, I thought I would re-process my data from the other month, to see if I can draw forth that notoriously difficult OIII-blue, that I always struggle with. I am pleased to say that I have, based on an idea from a discussion with a fellow astrophotographer on this forum. Basically, I super-stretched the OIII data to a level I would never do! and altered the blue channel, in order to adjust things accordingly. I hope others feel this is an improvement. What would I do without convolution of the noisy data and using the Ha as a Luminance!?

As I wrote last time, the Ha data I was very pleased with, but the OIII was tough to capture and the sky was pretty poor to be fair, as well. I got 100 Has at 4 minutes long each, and 72 OIIIs at 4 minutes long too. All in all the imaging time was 11 hours 28 minutes. Take care all of you, thanks. Simon
