Description

Also known as the Seven Sisters, the Pleiades, an open star cluster, lies in the constellation Taurus at a distance of about 444 light-years away. The blue nebulosity comes from the light of the cluster’s blue B-type stars reflecting off of dust.



Taken in December 2016 over multiple nights (20-22 & 26-28) from Campbell, CA, USA. Sky: 18.80 mag/arcsec^2
