Description

Pacman nebula

PACMAN or NGC281 nebula, an emission nebula located in the constellation Cassiopeia and distant about 10,000 light years from Earth.

Discovered by the American astronomer Edward Barnard in 1881, this nebula emits a lot in the Ha band.

Photo extracted from a series of LRGBHa Baader 1.25 "photos, total exposure approx 8 hours. Material, Ioptron CEM120 EC2, refractor 152/900 APo Tecnosky, Camera moravian Mark I G2 8300 M.
