Description

Also known as the “Eye of God”, the Helix is a planetary nebula in the constellation Aquarius located at an estimated distance of about 700 light-years away. This makes it one of the closest planetary nebula to Earth.

Taken in October 2017 over multiple nights (October 5-8) from Campbell, CA, USA. Sky: 18.80 mag/arcsec^2
