Description

This image shows three Sharpless objects: Sh2-235, center bottom is the brightest object of the three. Sh2-231, bottom right is small and fainter. Sh2-232 is the large one. Ha is the main emmision type, followed by SII. OIII is basically non-existent. So I decided for the unusual bicolor of Ha and SII. The orangey color indicates the regions with most SII.

In the center of Sh2-232 is a tiny planetary nebula G173.5+03.2, it appears as red diffuse spot. In fact, this would be the only reason to image OIII but I decided to give that a miss.

Imaged during several nights in November.

6h Ha as the main driver of contrast and detail

3h SII

1h RGB for stars

Hope you enjoy
