Description

The heart nebula is an emission nebula glowing in the red H-alpha light in the perseus arm of our galaxy. A cluster of massive stars excited the hydrogen that emitted its light roughly 7500 years ago.

This picture is dedicated to my girlfriend, who has extreme patience with my hobby! :-)

I plan to collect more data with longer exposure time to polish the picture and get more details of nebula. I hope the streetlights lighting up my backyard don't interfere too much with that plan ;-)

Description: Without flats... I calibrated a problem in and i still don't know where the glow comes from. Though the Askar FMA 180 is illuminated well, not using flats made it better :-(
