Description

Mars 17 Sep 2020 – ~22:20UT
LX200 10” Classic – x3 standard GSO Barlow – QHY5III174M – IR-RGB filters Finally at the 5th processing – got data out.
RGB were the old Meade Series 4000 (probably not IR cut), all manually turning Filter Wheel, quickly while I managed to have Firecap automatically starting recording just after each filter turn - maybe 10s to stabilise telescope.
Consider this was my only test & only 1 set of IR-RGB and it was not in the Bahamas, Chile or any other clearer skies, but North-East UK - never had another chance!

Bottom part of Mars was washed out.

The above note is not an excuse, it is pure facts and Mars was just over neighbour house.

I was lucky, in my bad luck...
