Description

For almost all of the winter season, certainly since I got all of my new gear, this target has been neglected by me for no apparent reason and not intentionally either. So when I had just over 2 hours window of time between clouds to shoot something, I realised that this would be the perfect target to shoot.

The moon had other plans though. Glaring at 90% illumination but being very close to the target, it introduced very weird halos in the stacked image. This was not unexpected, but was certainly more disappointing than I initially thought.

Given the situation, I think the image turned out okay. It isn't as details as I'd hoped it would be, but mostly because I had to clip of shadows quite a bit to get rid of the halos and rings.

Compared to my very first (and only narrow field attempt), I'd say this is a HUGE improvement to say the least.
