Description

These two NGC targets are surrounding HD148937, a star of a very rare type - O6.5f. Out of the litereature, only 5 of these stars are known. This star has a vast mount of Hydrogen, Sufur and Nitrogen ejected which created NGC6164 (the lower part of the center nebula) and NGC6165 (the upper part) plus there is a lot of Oxygen still in a larger distance from an earlier ejection.
This star type is a C-N-O burner, which is very unusual. Its distance is about 4200 LJ from Earth.

SHO/SOH combination with four separate processing trains - one for each element and one for the stars. Then careful mix and recombination in Photoshop.
