Description

"Stargazer, A View of the Universe"
- Region around Messier 8 Lagoons/Dragon Nebula
- LRGB-SHO Mosaic Crop (2 Panels) 750mm
- Sagittarius constellation

Good morning everyone :-) I've spent the last few days trying to find a suitable workflow for me, for processing narrow-band recordings.
For Pixinsight I found the script "AutoIntegrate" - a script to my liking, with umpteen setting options, you can spend a few hours with it *g* This is one of the results, again the Lagoon Nebula, in SHO elaboration, with RGB star colors and separate luminance channel for sharpness and depth. I didn't pursue a specific goal when it came to the coloring, but rather let my creativity and my feelings run free, but I basically stuck to the Hubble palette :-)
I think he turned out pretty - as a little bonus treat, the Starless version is attached below - happy Sunday everyone!

What is special about this astro image is that it was taken from my small balcony observatory in the middle of the city, in a heavily light-polluted sky, with Bortle 7-8. During the recordings, the fog was between 5° and 18° above the horizon in the sky.

This picture was taken with a dual-camera system, it shows the recordings of the main camera (Atik16200) at a focal length of 750mm (Skywatcher 150/750PDS).
