Description

The SH2-101 emission nebula lies about 6000 lightyears from the imaging sensor in my camera.
The three imaging nights I started the imaging session before I went to sleep at 22.30 and jumped out of the bed at 03.30 in the morning to disconnect the telescope and wrap the tarp around the scope and mount.
I programmed the Asiair Pro to take 85 subs each night, do a meridian flip, and  go to home position and shut down after finishing the session.
The rig performed well and did everything according to my plan while I was sleeping.
I threw away 96 subs due to bright skies at the end and beginning of the sessions, drifting clouds and satellite tracks.
