Description

My application for time on JWST for this was refused so I had to fall back on my 12" setup
I do have a liking of galaxy clusters even though not much can be revealed with modest amateur equipment so I decided on a short run on NGC1275 and friends while waiting on other targets to rise. The luminance was taken under good conditions but the RGB was over two nights which were of poor transparency. 4h total exposure reveals at least 100 galaxies in this field and rather surprisingly at this image scale, the start of some slight detail in the primary member NGC1275 which is a Seyfert galaxy. Hubble images show a web of Ha tendrils around this galaxy which you can start to see...maybe
