Description

Sh2-173 is an emission nebula in the constellation of Cassiopeia. It is quite faint and not so frequently shown on AB. Often only the Ha is exhibited which gives a quite uniform red aspect. I tried to get more out of it by adding significant SII data. OIII was virtually absent on my subs. I chose the Foraxx script  with Ha in red and SII in the green and bluish channels. Stars were captured with RGB filters and blended afterwards. GHS helped to get more detail in the nebula, the levels are quite tight, one of the most difficult targets I processed so far.
