Description

Messier 39 also catalogued as NGC 7092, is an open cluster in the constellation of Cygnus. it cluster was discovered by Guillaume Le Gentil in 1749

It is easily observed with a small telescope or better still binoculars. As it covers an area of the sky that is approximately the same size as a full Moon. It is around 1,010 light-years away from us.
