Description

Zooming into the heart of the Christmas tree nebulae (NGC 2264) located in the constellation Monoceros 2600 light years away, one can’t help but notice the vibrant and close up intricate structures and patterns here. One structure is typically called the Fox fur nebulae located on the left, also the Cone nebulae on the top right corner. These Hot blue stars are generating such intense radiation that they stimulate the nearby gases which glow mostly Red and bring it to life. Taken over 4 nights and processed via many software programs to bring out the Nebulae and purposely reduced the stars so they don’t overwhelm the image. Hope you all enjoy it.
