Description

With M13 so close by it's easy to skip over M92.  But M92 is just as pretty if a bit less extended.  Interestingly, as Earth's north pole precesses through its 25,700 year cycle, for a time this cluster sits almost as close to the pole as Polaris does today.  This last occurred a bit before mankind invented agriculture - 10,000 BC.  Although at magnitude 6 it makes a pretty poor Pole Cluster...

120 second subs were used along with the QHY Extended Full Well Capacity mode to retain color in the stars.  The nights were quite sharp and the Luminance master had a FWHM of 1.5"
